What is Bite Sized? It’s basically a FFAK catch-all of mini bonus comics. I used to post a ton of random comics or info on Tumblr/Twitter/ect over the years – but I slowly stopped doing it as sometimes it revealed additional information that SOME readers would see and not others. I still loved making them and have wanted to redraw a few for years now.. So with this project, I hope to have a creative outlet for just that!
FFAK chapters do get very long, I’m sure you’ve noticed – but there’s still always a little scene or two that get left out. Which is sad because sometimes it will highlight a background character that doesn’t get much screentime as it is! Bite-Sized is meant to be about anything & everything, so those kinds of scenes can play out here without disrupting the main comic. Obviously, stuff like that will still happen in the main comic too.
You can expect mostly silly/mundane/fluff comics that might only be a couple pages long, sometimes nsfw scenes or even full backstories/flashbacks! It all depends on what my mood is. This bonus comic is still canon, unless stated otherwise lol.
I also have over 100 scenes collected/written and over 50 comics I’d like to redraw that were posted on Tumblr – so I have quite the stockpile already. Bite-Sized will be up for free to read on comicfury unlike some of my other bonus comics which are download only. I am still going to be making more bonus comics that are paid-only too.
If you have a bluesky, you can follow the FFAK account for when I post updates for it (usually when an episode is completed) along with the regular FFAK update announcements. Or, you can also create a comicfury account and subscribe for it to alert you when it updates!
Anyway, I’m very excited to work on this alongside my other comics, as sometimes I just need a break from starting a next big chapter but still feel like drawing comics.
